Vendor Profile : Soulfari Jewelry

Sarah Anderson is the jewelry designer for burgeoning company, Soulfari Jewelry, based in Saskatoon, SK. The unique name Soulfari comes from the blending of two words, "soul" and "safari". Safari means journey in Swahili, and Soulfari is meant to embody a meaningful journey.

Sarah finds inspiration in faraway lands like Greece, Morocco, India, and Nepal, and blends this with her personal aesthetic using a rich palette of colours and textures. Soulfari Jewelry's aesthetic could be described as refined, edgy, and bohemian.

Her materials are sourced both locally and abroad, including components from France, Turkey, and Thailand, as well as leather from a local farm and bullet casings from local hunters. She works with semiprecious stones in many of her pieces as well as other natural materials like hand-etched bison leather, bone beads, and dyed cotton thread. Many steps go into most pieces with weaving, metal plating, etching, beading, dyeing, and drilling happening often!

You can find Soulfari on Instagram/Twitter @soulfarijewelry and online.

Vendor Profile - Skrap

skräp: a Swedish word for junk.

Hoarding vintage/antique items has been a hobby of mine for years. I decided to turn it into a business opportunity in 2013. Hence skräp was conceived as a pop-up shop offering vintage and retro household items and accessories. Recently I added to the collection some handmade stationery items that are inspired by vintage floral prints as I'm a sucker for color and pattern. I recycle paper from half-used notebooks and notepads and remnants from other paper projects.

You can find skräp at the 33rd Street Market, on Facebook  or email

Vendor Profile - ReMade Goods

ReMadeGoods are crafted from 100% upcycled material. Scraps such as old mop heads, used sweaters, cotton from vitamin bottles, plastic and paper packaging as well as other found odds and ends are assembled into fiber wall art. Many of the current goods are made from waste collected from the 2015 Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, construction sites and recycle bins throughout the city. These ReMadeGoods are a playful nod to 1970s wall art and make macrame modern by encouraging us to examine our relationship with waste.

You can find ReMade Goods on Instagram @remadegoods, online or email .

My name is Britt Agrey and I hand-make funky and unique clothing and accessories out of recycled fabrics and notions. This can sometimes be a challenge but that is what keeps me going- continually having an artistic challenge to overcome!

Vendor Profile - Red Head Aromatherapy

I have worked with essential oils for the last 14 years. I would like to share my knowledge and enjoyment of aromatherapy with others.

I have spent many years creating spiritual and therapeutic blends for myself, friends and family. Having struggled with health problems these last few years I have learned as much as I could about alternative healing. In doing so have found so much of ones well being comes from learning to relax and just take care of one’s self. I make therapeutic blends but also just enjoyable relaxing blends. Along with soaps, bath bombs, and such all to take care of your body and soul.
