Vendor Profile: The Rosy Deer
Hi there! my name is Amy Roper and I am a fibre artist living in Lloydminster AB. When I am not busy chasing my two littles around, I can be found crafting. I make quality fibre goods featuring handwoven textiles, handspun yarns and repurposed materials. Currently, my passion is in weaving and I spend hours at my 4-shaft artisat loom playing with hundreds of threads. A single warp on the loom contains 840 threads that must each be tied on individually before I begin to throw a shuttle! Then after the fabric is made, I lovingly sew cowls and purses out of it. Follow me on FB at The Rosy Deer and on Instagram @rosydeertextiles. My finished projects are available on etsy : http://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/therosydeer I am always crafting so check in often. Cheers

Vendor Profile: Joyweave
Joyweave began as an attempt to create the perfect pillow for my living room. With a loom made from an old picture frame, hockey tape and finishing nails, I immediately began experimenting with different techniques, textures, stitches, yarns, and colours. I was (and still am!) overwhelmed and excited by the endless possibilities and beauty that can be created by something so simple. I finally shared my weaving addiction with the world and have had a wonderful gracious response, pushing me to continue creating.
Each tapestry is joyfully made with designs and materials inspired by the beautiful prairies that surround me. I can be found on Instagram @joyweaveco or via email at delee_eckl@hotmail.com

vendor profile: Lori Degenstien Designs
Since leaving city life behind four years ago and settling into the blissful calm of rural Saskatchewan, I've finally created the space I need to be able to explore my creativity while raising my three children.
I'm deeply inspired by nature and the beauty of the Saskatchewan prairies. I love spending quiet summer mornings outside with my coffee and crocheting. I'll certainly never get enough of exploring the many back country roads with my camera and three noisy kids piled into the backseat.
I'm usually up late at night after the kids have been put to bed working on various projects. I always feel like there are never quite enough hours in a day...
I currently maintain an Etsy shop as well as supply several boutiques across Canada with my items. I love doing local farmer's markets and local craft shows too.
