A Teeny Tiny Sale!

A big thank you to everyone who came out to our Teeny Tiny Trunk Show on Saturday! We had a lovely, laid back day with just a bit of rain thrown in for fun - and we enjoyed seeing all the new and familiar faces who came out to support this event. Thanks to all of our vendors for being so great, to the Night Oven Bakery for such wonderful breads and cakes, to Scout Mex Hall for serving up Burritos for lunch, and finally to Tamarack General Store and The Broadway Shoe Repair for so kindly letting us set up in your space. Hooray Teeny Tiny!

Creative Night Out, July 9

Our next Creative Night Out is coming up this Wednesday, and we would love to have you join us! We will be hosted again by Hiddenstitch, at 14-23rd st. east from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Bring any portable crafty project that you are working on, or something you would like to start. If in doubt, bring some paper and a pencil, there are always loads of vintage goodies to draw at Hiddenstitch.
As always, everyone is welcome to this event, whether you are an avid maker or if you just like the idea of it. The evening is an informal one, full of good people and good conversation (and often food! Bring something to share if you like). See you soon!

What's Next for Flock and Gather: Creative Night Out!

The five of us here at Flock and Gather are really excited about doing something a little different than our Handmade Markets - we want to take it back where this all started. At the root of everything we do is our passion for supporting makers and the handmade community, and sometimes we just want it to be all about the making.
We are starting a monthly Creative Night Out - an informal evening to make art, do crafts, meet people, and have a lovely time. We will choose a loose theme for the night and let you know what you should bring. There will be no instruction, and these are not classes - simply time to be creative with others.
These evenings will be graciously hosted by our friend Ricki at Hiddenstitch! Thank you!

Let's see if we can answer some of your questions about this here:
Can I come? Yes! Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be artistically inclined or crafty, if this is something that interests you, please come and try it out.
What is the cost? These evenings are free!
What if I don't want to take part in the activity for the night? That's just fine - bring a portable craft of your own, or just come and visit.
What should I bring? We will let you know of any supplies you should bring, and what we would be supplying. Always feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks.
Where and When? 7:30-10:30pm at Hiddenstitch, 14 - 23rd st east, Saskatoon.

We hope to see you soon!

Springtime Handmade Market Epic Wrap Up Post

How can we possibly say enough thanks to all of our amazing vendors, volunteers, patrons and the community at large that has supported us so well yet again? We don't have adequate words. It's an understatement to say we are overwhelmed and grateful.

xoxo
