Springtime Market, 2013

Our Springtime Market was a huge success! We had record numbers of people come through the sale and an extraordinary amount of handmade talent. We owe big thanks to all our wonderful vendors, our volunteer crew who are an enormous help, and to all of the finest people in Saskatoon who come out to support us each and every sale! Honestly, we can't say enough about the excitement and kindness that this city offers us. If you are trying to contact a vendor from the sale, or see something in the photos here that you would like to inquire about - please have a look back through the vendor profiles that make up the last several posts, you should find what you're looking for.
Flock and Gather takes a bit of a break after each sale - but keep up with us for crafty happenings! Thanks Saskatoon!

See you there!!!!

Spring Market Vendor Profile: Shauna Buck

We're excited for some new items and directions!  New screen printed wood coasters featuring 8 different domestic woods and designs are definitely our new love! Perfect for cabins or man-caves, or even just to have a little of our great Canadian outdoors in! :) Also, hand-built recipe boxes made from the leg lumber of Saskatchewan grain elevators and featuring the first of several designs to come are also here in limited quantities.  And finally, the first of our new letterpress prints under the banner of Backyard Letterpress and Paper Co will be making their appearance! Spring Bears and the oh so fun BBQ Shark make a come back in new sumptuous letterpress on 100% Cotton paper.  So many fun things for spring!

What is flock and gather you ask?

Spring Market Vendor Profile: Carole Epp of the untrained eye

I'm a mom to two silly little boys, a wife to a bike builder extraordinaire, a blogger, an artist, and a passionate believer in the value of the handmade. I make functional pottery for the wee ones and the young at heart. Each piece is unique and tells a story. I love the imagery of the children's literature i'm surrounded with daily and I aim to bring out some of that whimsy and fun in my work. More than anything I simply hope that what I do might cause someone to smile.
