Not to be missed: Sandra Knoss @ Void Gallery

From January 3rd to February 3rd, Void is showing oil paintings by Sandra Knoss, with a reception Friday, January 25th, from 7 - 9 pm . During Void's Small Works show in November and December, we sold out of Sandra's paintings. We are excited to be bringing in these new works.

From Rock Glen, Sandra's paintings are bold, graphic depictions of Saskatchewan's landscape and wildlife. "Often the vibrancy of the prairies is washed out by its vastness. The rich colours I use in my paintings are there in the grasses, trees, flowers, sky and earth." - Sandra

Photos from Winter Wonders!

Our 2012 Winter Wonders Market was so. much. fun. We decorated the hall with big lanterns and let our vendors make the rest of the space look so beautiful. People crowded in from the time we opened the doors until minutes before we took the tables down - the music played, apple cider flowed, popcorn was nibbled, and we saw a lot of happy faces. In our humble opinion, we think this was the best place to shop this holiday, and we are so grateful for all the support we get from the lovely people of Saskatoon. Thanks to everyone that came out -- what a successful event!

winter wonders artisan profile: Carole Epp

Hi there, I'm Carole one of f&g's organizers.
I'm inspired by the songs children make up, late nights in the studio, my motor bike building husband, and kids books. I enjoy whimsy, making people smile and a good cup of tea before anything else. I aim to make beautiful objects than aren't taken seriously, but that are seriously loved and used.I look forward to seeing you at the market this weekend. Please stop by and say hi : )
