Oh happy day indeed!

So contrary to the very serious faces you see here, the f&g crew have been having a great time lately getting the ball rolling for our upcoming Winter Wonders Handmade Market. I know it's still warm out and the leaves haven't fallen yet, but we can't help but think of the holidays and of all the wonderful local indie craft we're going to be bringing you at this year's market.

We've been putting our heads together to work on decorations, participant lists, and a few little surprises as well. Needless to say this will be our best market yet! Over the next few weeks stay tuned for some other fun events leading up to the sale, like a long overdue craft night, a collaboration with the Saskatchewan Craft Council and another coffee night.

Oh yah and soon the blog will be filled to the brim with artisan profiles not to be missed to wet your appetite for the market and so that you can start on your wishlist early : ) Until then here's a sneak peek into the lovely Shauna Buck's studio. She's got an amazing new press which was a sight to be seen and we even got a wee little peek at this year's Winter Wonders poster! It's a gorgeously adorable illustration of.....no wait, you'll just have to wait and see for yourself!

Shauna has not only a garage studio, but also an amazingly organized office studio in her house. It was filled to the brim with inspiration.

Shauna's going to have some lovely handpainted pieces like the ones below at the sale, but you know these won't last long so make sure to grab them while you can.

More to come so stay tuned....
