Vendor Profile : Swish & Craft

My name is Savannah Mae and I work under the name Swish & Craft, the word "Swish" was created by my mom and her friend when they were younger and it became interchangeable with the word, "relaxing" or just generally taking time for yourself. Swishing is essentially what I am doing while I am crafting. I create my hoop art while swished on my couch & marathon-ing really bad t.v. I am not going to lie, the majority of the hoop art for this show was made while watching an embarrassing amount of Keeping up with the Kardashians. I have explored a wide variety of creative mediums during my 28 years, but, embroidery was what has stuck with me the most. My embroidery work showcases my sassy sense of humor through sayings and imagery that are easily relatable or it is a modern spin on positive affirmations. I always said that there was so much beauty in the world that I didn't know what to do with my hands, but I think I finally figured it out, and I am grateful that I get to share it with the lovely people of Saskatoon.

Vendor Profile - ReMade Goods

ReMadeGoods are crafted from 100% upcycled material. Scraps such as old mop heads, used sweaters, cotton from vitamin bottles, plastic and paper packaging as well as other found odds and ends are assembled into fiber wall art. Many of the current goods are made from waste collected from the 2015 Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, construction sites and recycle bins throughout the city. These ReMadeGoods are a playful nod to 1970s wall art and make macrame modern by encouraging us to examine our relationship with waste.

You can find ReMade Goods on Instagram @remadegoods, online or email .

Vendor Profile - Remade Groovy by Britt

My name is Britt Agrey and I hand-make funky and unique clothing and accessories out of recycled fabrics and notions. I have been creating things out of fibre for the majority of my life and five years ago I started Remade Groovy by Britt as an outlet to sell what I make.Remade Groovy by Britt's main goals are to make everything from recycled materials so each piece has a low impact and to make each piece completely unique and feel great to wear. This can sometimes be a challenge but that is what keeps me going- continually having an artistic challenge to overcome!
